About Brittany Bock
“Fall down 7 times, get up 8. Don’t ever give up”
“Not only so, but we rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
Brittany Bock had a dream from the age of five years old.
- OIympic gold medalist.
- Women’s World Cup Champion.
She set goals, trained, and sacrificed.
She won: scoring game-winning goals to win championships.
She lost: hitting the post as the 5th PK shooter in a U-20 world cup.
She earned a full-ride to the University of Notre Dame where she became a 2x All-American and 2x Academic All-American earning her the 5th overall pick in the 2009 NWSL Draft by the Los Angeles Sol.
She was determined, relentless and focused. It paid off and she was invited into the US Women’s National Team.
Her goals were within reach, and then injuries struck. Broken ribs, concussions and the second of what would become eleven surgeries in seven years. Paired with the unpredictability of a league in its infancy; Brittany moved ten times over those same seven years leading to further heartbreak, frustration and pain.
Brittany’s identity for over 25 years was now lost. Searching for new meaning, she moved to Colorado. There she found a love for the mountains, nature’s beauty, and massage therapy. Massage allowed her to help others find relief through the very pain that she had become all too familiar with. Through this experience, she found herself not only relieving physical pain, but coaching individuals through their own life experiences.
Brittany Bock has a desire to share HOPE with the world. Through her experiences with pain, struggle, and frustration she can relate to any audience, but through her JOY and AUTHENTICITY she brings an unmatched passion and love for others to inspire determination, perseverance, and grit in those who she speaks to and mentors.
Brittany challenges her audience to find joy in the journey.
